Travelling to Asheville for Lindy Focus

DRIVING TO ASHEVILLE

If you live in the near region, there are a lot of advantages to driving. For one, parking at the Crowne Plaza is free. Second, you can easily make trips in to town to snag supplies. And third, there is less of a risk your trip will be delayed due to inclement weather! The address to put into your GPS is:

FLYING INTO ASHEVILLE

Our airport code is AVL. It’s a small regional airport, but well maintained. When booking your flight, consider that big northern cities (Chicago, New York) may not be good to have in your route, since this is winter and there are sometimes snowstorms!
 

NEARBY CITIES
The Asheville airport isn’t always the cheapest to fly into, so sometimes attendees instead fly into GSP (Greenville, SC), ATL (Atlanta, GA), or CLT (Charlotte, NC). From there you’d need to rent a car or carpool to Asheville, a few hours away.

AIRPORT SHUTTLE
The Crowne Plaza airport shuttle will be at the Asheville airport, schedule to be announced, on December 26th and December 27th. The fee is $15 USD cash per person. You must pay in cash to the driver so please don't forget to bring $15! 

The shuttle will also be running, schedule to be announced, for departures on Januray 1st.

If you want to make use of the airport shuttle service outside of these scheduled days, you will need to call the hotel two weeks in advance at 828-254-3211 and give them your transportation information over the phone.
